Mr Furze is retiring.

Mr Furze has been a Teacher and Principal for his entire career, and has been working with Minx for the past 10 years.

He was the founding Principal at Laurimar Primary School and then again at Hazel Glen College, both new schools in Doreen designed by Minx Architecture.

It is not often that you have the opportunity within the government sector to work with a Principal on more than one school project, so we were particularly lucky to be able to work with Mr Furze on two.

Mr Furze is an inspiration. His vision, adaptability, passion and good humour have made the projects that we have worked on together incredibly successful. It has been enlightening working with him, gaining an understanding of the way that schools operate and the challenges that are faced in establishing a new school community in a rapidly growing suburb.

Although we are sad that we will be unlikely to work on another new school project with him, we wish him the very best in his retirement.

We have enjoyed every moment of our collaboration.
